Cheating on Your Health?
Pamela Adams | December 8, 2009Are you stressed with too much dieting? Do you count the calories every time you eat a platter of food or a bite of chocolate? Diet doesn’t necessarily means having to shed off pounds and have a beautiful sexy body. It means that eating the right food and be happy at the same time.
Chocolates, cakes, ice cream, meat and cheese — these are the so-called sinful indulgence that you tend to stay away because of the amount of calorie content. But hey, aren’t these very ones that you want to sink your teeth into? This could be really troublesome because you get stressed out by not eating these kinds of food even for just a bite. You are afraid of being obese and because of that you get stressed out.
Then there is the problem when it comes to occasions like birthdays, thanksgiving, Christmas. These are the days that you can’t really say no to enticingly rich dishes, so you tend to overeat and be in the spirit of the holidays, and join the holiday binge eating. Then the fire dies down and here comes the feeling of being bloated. After that, you will be stressed out on how much calorie you gained and now you’re obsessing over losing the weight you gained. See the cycle? This scenario happens every time and it is funny how we go around the cycle every time it does.
Eating the foods that you want like chocolates doesn’t necessarily mean that you are not eating right. You just have to minimize your consumption of it and exercise. That’s the essence of eating right so that the next time you eat, you won’t really stress over it.
Go easy on yourself and slowly incorporate exercising to your schedule again. And to top it all off, always make it a priority to take your adrenal supplements. In this fast and stressful world, they are your best buddies.
